This is the best quality headliner reproduction set available in the U.S. and made in the U.S. The fabric choices are the closest fabric matches available today to the original fabric. Most exact original materials are no long available today. Headliner replacement can be a DIY project or you can seek professional help.
Additional fabric is included for quarter/sail panels when the headliner only is ordered.
All 1957-71 Wagons were equipped with board style headliners. A conversion bow suspended style headliner is offered for these models. The conversion headliner kit is shipped with the bows necessary to suspend the headliner. Measuring and drilling is required.
1. Original headliner board along with any support stays are removed and discarded.
2. Headliner is stretched into place; edges trimmed; finished like a conventional bow suspended headliner.
3. Some hardtop models built prior to 1964 had exposed chrome bows over the headliner seams. These headliners are sewn with cardboard on the face side of the headlining to accomodate the chrome bows as original.
